Explore our international opportunities!

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center has a very active international medicine program. There are a multitude of opportunities to travel abroad, and our faculty and residents have been to many diverse parts of the world! Many faculty members take yearly trips to developing countries to staff clinics, provide medical supplies, introduce new technologies, and educate about standards of care and basic resuscitation measures.

Trips are always educational and provide unique experiences to share your medical knowledge and skills. When you are not engaged in medical care, there is always ample time to enjoy the sites!

For more information about this program please contact Dr. Jeff McKinzie, Dr. Seth Wright, or Dr. Shannon Snyder.
