The statistical scientist is vital to the biomedical researcher making a contribution to the body of knowledge in medicine. Emergency Medicine currently employs 2 biostatisticians to assist with experimental design, study design, data analysis, data display, statistical computing and interpretation of results. The Vanderbilt Department of Biostatistics holds Bio-statistical clinics daily Monday through Friday at Noon in their Conference room in Medical Center North. This is a valuable opportunity for investigators to learn and have vital feedback on their research projects.
