Dr. Henning attended Vanderbilt Medical School - class of 1997. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. She has been on staff at Vanderbilt since 2001. Her practice interests include wilderness medicine and sports medicine. She also enjoys teaching the medical students. Outside of the hospital she enjoys pottery, gardening, cycling, and running. She is married to Chris Henning who does commercial construction and they have a new baby boy - born in June 2007.
