Dr. Himes is a graduate of Wheaton College and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed his residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, where he served as chief resident. His main areas of interest are asthma, burns, and toxicology. He and his wife Kim are the proud parents of Lauren Grace and Anna Kathryn. Outside of the hospital, Dan enjoys running, biking, fishing, and model railroading.
